RecenterED Ireland Pilgrimage & School Professional Development Cohort

A Year Recentering Purpose and Meaning within a Community of Practice

June 24-29, 2026

What we crave—what we need—as educators and school leaders more than anything in this rapidly shifting world is rich human connection, deep purpose, and authentic meaning

The RecenterED Educator and School Leader Cohort provides just that: a pilgrimage of professional renewal, where landscape and conversation become catalysts for transformation

Imagine rambling along wild coastal cliffs, where waves crash like ancient drums, then winding into villages where every cobbled street holds a story.

By day, we walk under endless skies, letting the rhythm of the land restore our own rhythms of leadership.

By evening, we gather around the table—sharing stories, insights, and honest reflections with peers who understand the unique blessing of serving in education

But the pilgrimage is only the beginning

Throughout the school year, this community of practice continues virtually along two paths:

One for educators and one for school leaders

  • School Leaders: Individual coaching, peer coaching circles, and strategic problem-solving to strengthen clarity, courage, and vision.

  • Educators: Reflective practice, collaborative inquiry, and renewed rhythms for teaching with creativity, purpose, and sustainability.

Guided by the ancient wisdom of Ireland and the shared wisdom of our community of practice, both during our time in Ireland and during the virtual sessions throughout the school year, we will:

  • Reconnect with purpose and passion in the work of education

  • Rediscover sustainable rhythms that balance educating with life

  • Renew clarity around vision and strategy for the year ahead

  • Restore courage and hope in a trusted circle of peers

Both groups share the pilgrimage in Ireland—gathering as one community—and then travel parallel but distinct professional development paths through virtual meetings for the rest of the year that provides:

  • Six virtual peer coaching circles – Trusted spaces to process challenges, share insight, and stay grounded in supportive rhythms.

  • Individual coaching sessions – Personalized guidance to help you translate inspiration into practical strategies.

  • Collaborative problem-solving – Together, we tackle the real dilemmas of teaching and leadership and discover fresh solutions together

  • Ongoing practices of renewal – Learn how to weave rest and restoration into your daily leadership life.

  • Inspired strategy - Practical solutions to help you lead an innovative, creative, and engaging learning community
